Enormous, fully double blooms packed with fine ribbon petals in the softest apricot, warm peach at the heart, paling to cream at the edges.

One of the most generous cut flowers going: long, strong stems arrive through late summer and into autumn, just as the rest of the garden begins to tire, and each bloom lasts beautifully in the vase.

Hand-grown here from seed imported from the UK and raised in a 9cm pot — healthy, established seedlings, ready to plant straight into your garden or pots.

Position: Full sun

Care: Fertile, well-drained soil and steady water. Tall stems appreciate a little support, and asters do best given fresh ground each year rather than the same spot twice. Keep picking and more will come.
