Scabiosa Beaujolais Bonnets

Deep wine-dark pincushions, each little dome flecked with silver, the ruffled petals rimmed faintly paler so every bloom looks lit from behind. Held high on long, wiry stems that weave beautifully through other plantings, and adored by bees and butterflies all season.

Hand-grown here from seed imported from the UK and raised in a 9cm pot - healthy, established seedlings, ready to plant straight into your garden or pots.

Position: Full sun

Care: Well-drained soil is the main thing — it dislikes sitting wet, especially over winter. Deadhead regularly to keep the pincushions coming, or leave a few for the pretty seed heads.
